Bruins lose to Montreal (again)

The Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens have faced each other more than any other teams in the play offs. Therefore, you have a nasty rivalry stretching all the way back to the days of the Original 6 teams of the NHL. Though hockey does not enjoy the same popularity as other major sports in the United States, this rivalry still stands out. The Bruins-Canadiens rivalry does not have the same impact as the Red Sox-Yankees (probably the nastiest rivalry in pro sports). The B’s and C’s rivalry does provide a great number 2 overall rivalry.


Nevertheless, it is still not easy watching your team get sent home after a hard fought series. It seemed to come down to attrition. Montreal wanted to win more than the Bruins did. Inconsistency had come back to haunt the Bruins when they least needed it.

Well, Bruins can go home and during the offseason recharge start their pursuit for
